Bringing a pinch of Korea and its beauty routine to Milan. Yepoda, which produces and sells its Korean skincare line online and exports it across Europe, chooses Milan for its very first physical temporary store in the world: peach and green, from the brand identity, set the tone of the concept. For Yepoda, Korean skincare is made of 6 fundamental steps, and the journey starts from 6 display cylinders — one per phase — replicated on the ceiling too as a lighting element. At the centre of the shop, a modular routine wheel lets you choose the right product for each moment.

A Korean skincare temporary store. The Yepoda brand, which produces and sells its Korean skincare line online and exports it across Europe, chose Milan as the city to bring its first temporary store into the physical world. Peach and green, born from the brand identity, are a striking element of the project concept.
Yepoda’s 6 steps of Korean skincare. For Yepoda, Korean skincare is made of 6 fundamental steps, and each step corresponds to specific products. That is why the journey to discover the brand starts from 6 display cylinders, one per beauty-routine step, holding the products on custom-designed risers made of plexiglass. The cylinders are replicated on the ceiling too, both as a lighting element and as an indicator of the phase number.
The routine wheel. Each phase corresponds to one or more products. To choose the right one for each situation, you can use the wheel placed at the centre of the shop: each disc corresponds to a beauty-routine phase, and by assembling the wheels with the products you create the composition suited to your needs. The element housing the routine wheel with all the Yepoda products is at the centre of the shop, while the whole route with the 6 steps of Korean skincare unfolds around the perimeter.
The talking table. The link between the 6 display cylinders is the talking table, a curved metal element with a dual function. The first is to tell the necessary steps and provide a solid base for the brand’s storytelling; the second is to offer a base for the testers. In this way the products on top of the cylinders remain on display only, without being soiled by use.
The Korean photo booth. A small service room in the space becomes one of the focal points of the experience Yepoda wants to offer its customers. It was completely transformed, through the use of wall and ceiling mirrors and LED lettering, to house a real Korean photo booth: using elements created by Yepoda, you can take selfies, share them online and print them with the dedicated tool.
Skin Analyzer and shelving. The shelving holding the product stock for sale is in contrasting green, suspended by a metal structure. There are two more technological cylinders in the shop: one houses a Skin Analyzer for facial analysis, the other a steam towel-warmer to clean your face after using the testers. The temporary was covered by Beauty Biz, Pambianco, Panorama and Elle Decor.
