A K-beauty icon at Galeries Lafayette: Yepoda opens in Paris

Take the two iconic products and turn them into a K-beauty pop-up. The Korean skincare brand Yepoda opens a new pop-up shop at the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, designed by 23bassi: a K-beauty icon in the heart of the French capital, based on a circular structure that is at once a beating heart and a visual sign. At the centre, two 4-metre-tall mega size products — the Double Bubble and the Calm Balm — embody the double-cleansing routine typical of Korean skincare. Four curved pillar-shelves and a novelties totem complete the fit-out, accompanied by a Skin Analyzer and a Korean photo booth.

A K-beauty icon at Galeries Lafayette. The Korean skincare brand Yepoda continues to win the hearts of beauty enthusiasts with its new pop-up shop, located at the entrance of the prestigious Galeries Lafayette in Paris: a temporary shop that blends contemporary aesthetics and functionality, celebrating the K-beauty philosophy with an immersive, interactive experience.

A circular design that catches the eye. The project is based on a circular structure that is at once the beating heart of the beauty shop and a visual icon. At centre stage, two mega size products, monumental representations of Yepoda’s must-haves — the Double Bubble and the Calm Balm — rise a full 4 metres high, immediately capturing the attention of passers-by. These symbolic products embody the double-cleansing routine, a pillar of Korean skincare. The circular structure is enriched by four curved pillars that act as shelves, while at the centre a novelties totem is dedicated to the brand’s most recent launches. The ceiling, a source of indirect lighting, gives the installation a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Interactive experiences: Skin Analyzer and Photo Booth. Alongside the main structure, the pop-up shop includes two spaces dedicated to unique experiences. The Skin Analyzer station allows visitors to analyse their skin in detail, providing personalised recommendations and helping to discover the most suitable Yepoda products. The Korean photo booth is instead an area designed for fun and sharing: visitors can take free photos in a Korean-style decorated space, celebrating South Korea’s visual culture and promoting interaction on social media.

Yepoda’s expansion in France. This pop-up shop follows by just a few months the opening of Yepoda’s first temporary shop in the Paris district of Le Marais, also designed by 23bassi: a significant chapter in the brand’s growth journey in Europe.
