The W comes to life

When the logo becomes the stand: Wall&Decò at the Salone del Mobile 2023

When inspiration comes from the company’s own logo. Image = identity. The Wall&Decò stand at the 2023 Salone del Mobile has a clear task: in a few minutes it must tell the visitor what the company does, what its style is, what language it uses. The concept thus comes directly from the brand: the W goes from typographic symbol to design element of the stand. A large wallpaper W, with the main novelties of the essential collection, draws and divides the space, the routes, the form. At the centre, a display table enhances the material matrices, while at the back a full-wall LED wall plays the video of the collections.

Form. The stand must represent a company. In a few minutes it must tell the casual visitor everything there is to know about the company: what it does, what its style is, what language it uses. That is why the concept could only come from the brand itself: Wall&Decò. The W goes from typographic symbol to design element of the stand. A large wallpaper W, with the main novelties of the essential collection, draws and divides the space, the routes, the form.

The connection. The project connects to the one made inside the company’s showroom with the Contemporary Wonder installation, also designed by our studio for the 2023 Fuorisalone.

The table. At the centre of the stand, at the lowest point and at visitor height, a single display table enhances the material matrices used to create the collection’s themed designs. True works of art from which the designs conceived by the designers for Wall&Decò are born.

LED wall. At the back of the stand, one wall is completely covered by a full-wall LED wall, with the video of the collections’ concept: evocative images filtered through the form of the fit-out, telling visitors the company’s design language.
