Veralab Offices in Milan

Milan

2025

The Veralab office design project developed by 23Bassi was conceived with the goal of transforming the workplace into a space capable of expressing identity, creativity, and functionality.
Inside the Roncaglia 12 building in Milan, approximately 700 square meters of office space were designed and built in an extremely short timeframe: six months from the concept phase to final delivery.

Chess, Pantone Roadmine, and iconic objects: the playful side of the project

This project is an example of contemporary office design, in which architecture, interior design, and brand identity work together to create a cohesive and highly recognizable workspace.

The Veralab offices thus become not only an efficient workspace, but also a place that reflects the brand’s character through the customization of the spaces.

An Office Design Project Balancing Brand Identity and Efficiency

The design of the Veralab offices required an integrated approach capable of coordinating architecture, building systems, and interior design within a very tight timeline.

The project transformed an entire executive floor into a dynamic workspace, organized around a large central open space flanked by glass-walled meeting rooms, work areas, and informal spaces.

This layout is typical of contemporary office design, in which flexibility and collaboration have become essential elements of a company’s day-to-day operations.

The widespread use of glass surfaces promotes visual connectivity between rooms, enhancing the perception of space and allowing natural light to flood into the offices.

At the same time, the functional layout allows for a balance between collaborative work areas and spaces dedicated to concentration and privacy.

Chess, colors, and iconic objects: the playful side of the project

In addition to its functional aspect, the project incorporates a deliberately playful element that reflects Veralab’s direct and ironic communicative style.

One of the most recognizable elements is the pink checkered wall, which serves as a striking graphic feature within the offices and a visual cue immediately associated with the brand.

Elsewhere in the project, oversized objects and pop-art details reminiscent of the world of products and cosmetics appear, helping to create moments of surprise within the workplace.

These elements reinforce the strategy of personalizing spaces, transforming the office into a place that stimulates creativity and a sense of belonging.

A New Workspace Design Model for Veralab Offices

The Veralab office project in Milan demonstrates how office design can become a strategic tool for contemporary companies.

The spaces designed by 23Bassi combine operational efficiency, visual identity, and workplace quality, creating a workplace that supports daily activities while reinforcing the company culture.

The combination of open-plan spaces, collaborative areas, and informal spaces fosters interaction among teams and helps improve employees’ work experience.

Through a highly customized office interior design project, the workplace becomes a dynamic ecosystem where architecture, communication, and brand identity coexist in harmony.

The result is a contemporary workspace, designed to evolve over time and keep pace with the company’s growth.
