The elegance of grey, the classic feel of marble and black, with a totem of evergreen plants

An island corner, but permeable and flexible. The Beautyaholic’s Shop in Rinascente Turin is a space organised into four separate corners, perfect for consultation and for dividing products by category. The palette is that of the Beautyaholic’s concept: grey fluted fronts, a black-edged marble top, coordinated risers. At the centre of the island, a light totem in painted iron supports shelves in the same marble, where hydroponically grown plants — evergreen and low-maintenance — alternate with the products, underlining the brand’s green character.
Form. The space allotted to the brand allowed an island layout, perfect for consultation. Four separate corners were therefore designed (which also serve to divide the products into different categories).
Materials. The furniture carries the colours of the Beautyaholic’s Shop concept: grey fronts, a black-edged marble top. The difference, to add importance and give a dynamic yet classic feel, lies in the fluting of the fronts. There are risers, again in black-edged marble. The most important element visually, however, is the green totem at the centre of the island.
The plant totem. At the centre of the project we designed a light totem, made of painted iron, with shelves made from the same material as the risers and the island tops. Plants were placed in this element — hydroponically grown, easy to maintain and evergreen — alternating with the products. This underlines the green character of all the brand’s products.
