Beautyaholic’s first corner in Milan is born inside COIN in Piazza V Giornate, with a far-from-trivial constraint: having to display many brands called for a neutral, flexible backdrop that was at the same time elegant and contemporary. Grey becomes the base; light is the true protagonist. The shelves hide a linear LED system inclined at 45° that lights the product uniformly without revealing the source. A cantilevered table with an anthracite-edged marble top houses, at its far end, an area dedicated to product testing, with a mirror, a seat and light points behind opaline glass to enhance the transparent packaging.

Mood. The forms are drawn around the product. Having to display many brands demanded a neutral yet elegant colour. The corner had to look contemporary and innovative, with details of classic appeal. Light had to be the protagonist and enhance the chromatic and distinctive features of the various products on display. It was important, while keeping a simple and flexible structure, to divide the products into sections by brand.
Materials. Robust yet aesthetically valuable laminates were chosen for all the areas that might be worn by contact with the public, while lacquered surfaces were used for all the areas in direct visual contact that surround the products. Some display areas of the shelves, as well as the logo, are backlit, for a very elegant and exclusive effect.
Shelves. The shelves hide a linear LED system inclined at 45° that allows perfectly uniform lighting of the product while concealing the light source.
Table. The cantilevered table, designed and conceived for the products, houses at its far end an area reserved for product testing, with a seat and a mirror. The marble top is anthracite-edged like the shelves to underline the coordinated effect; some points of the table are lit behind opaline glass, creating very interesting plays of light on all those products with transparent packaging.
