“Support” by Lorenzo Quinn. A Giant in Venice

Lorenzo Quinn’s artwork , installed in Venice for the Art Biennale , is called SUPPORT. Two enormous hands emerge from the waters of Venice’s canals to raise awareness about the dangers of climate change; they rest against the facade of Ca’ Sangredo, one of the palaces at risk of sinking due to rising sea levels. The temporary installation opened on May 13 and will be on display through November 26, 2017. Here is the amazing video showing the installation of the artwork SUPPORT.
