Over the top (of Italy). At 2,137 metres, the panoramic terrace of the Pavillon station on Mont Blanc is one of the most beautiful and highest in Italy: 23bassi reinterprets it in collaboration with Red Bull Organics, theming the space between the station and the old refuge. To frame the landscape in harmony with the profiles of the peaks, iron portals were created, some filled with perforated metal panels carrying the pre-spaced logos of Skyway and Red Bull. The bar is set inside the old cable-car cabin, repainted in Skyway’s signature white: a unique cable-car bar for an aperitivo at high altitude.

Italy’s highest terrace. Located at 2,137 metres, the panoramic terrace of the Pavillon station is without doubt one of the most beautiful in the whole Aosta Valley and one of the highest in Italy. The project involved theming the terrace between the Pavillon station and the old refuge, thanks to the collaboration with Red Bull Organics. From there you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Mont Blanc and the Veny Valley.
The portals. To frame the landscape, in harmony with the profiles of the peaks that define it, iron portals were designed and built to frame the beauty of the Aosta Valley. Some are filled with a perforated metal panel carrying the pre-spaced logos of Skyway and Red Bull.
The old cable-car cabin and the cable-car bar. The bar was set inside the old cable-car cabin, adapting its windows and painting it in Skyway’s signature colour, white. A unique bar for an aperitivo at high altitude.
The furnishings. The seating and all the furnishings were designed by Emanuele Magenta. Made in green, they are conceived for the outdoors in far-from-easy environmental conditions.
