How to reinterpret Italian ceramics according to 23bassi
The first porcelain-stoneware tile collection born from the collaboration between Ceramica Fioranese and 23bassi. Italian Landscape starts from a precise idea: turning the Italian architectural and landscape heritage into graphic motifs to reinterpret on the ceramic surface. Three central-Italian cities — Florence, L’Aquila and Siena — become the matrix of four decorative subjects, accompanied by five plain backgrounds with a cement-like texture, in 20.5×20.5 cm format with a matt finish. A palette of warm, dusty tones and coloured grouting open up to infinite design combinations.

Italian Landscape is the first collection born from the collaboration between Fioranese and architecture studio 23Bassi. What they have in common is a love for Italy and its riches, a land from which to draw new ideas and to look at with different eyes. With the greatest compositional freedom, obtained by combining the various decorations and colours regularly or randomly, Italian Landscape fits into any type of environment, bringing emotion and aesthetic quality, to create a structured, tactile décor.
Our heritage. Architecture, monuments, landscapes, works of art built by man or by nature which, if observed carefully, reveal to us an iconic, replicable visual synthesis. Starting from three central-Italian cities — Florence, L’Aquila and Siena — three landscape symbols were selected from which to derive the graphic motif to reproduce on the ceramic surface. A poetic blend of art and lived experience gives an undeniable charm to this collection of warm, dusty colours, to imagine the walls of the home as vaster landscapes in which to rediscover dreamlike, primordial sensations, with great freedom and imagination.
The collection. 4 decorative subjects and 5 plain backgrounds with a cement-like texture, offered in the small 20.5×20.5 cm format with a matt finish, make up a versatile porcelain-stoneware collection with which to create unique designs as cladding and flooring for small and large spaces destined for residential and commercial building. The introduction of colour, through tone-on-tone pairings or unprecedented contrasting combinations, creates a highly on-trend colour palette. The use of coloured grouting, matching furnishings or wall paints, is a further creative element with which to generate infinite design possibilities.
