White, black and greys: elegance is in the purity of the lines

Grey is perfect for backgrounds, said Bruno Munari: it makes any colour stand out, even white. It makes everything it contains evident and special.

Sharp lines, restored floors and light integrated into the architectural volumes build a balanced atmosphere, where every element dialogues discreetly to create a harmonious, timeless whole.

The elegance of greys in central Milan: Casa Light Grey

White, black and greys: elegance is in the purity of the lines. Casa Light Grey is a renovation in central Milan (2013) starting from a quotation by Bruno Munari: grey is the perfect background, because it makes any colour stand out — even white — making everything it contains special. The geometries are bold and sharp. The original walnut floor was restored and, where not recoverable, integrated with basaltina inserts. The Viabizzuno lights, hidden in the portals, enhance the volumes; in the bathrooms the chrome taps dialogue with surfaces in water tones.
